Vale’s Chamba’s Chukh as the name suggests is a Traditional Recipe of erstwhile Chamba State, now a district of Himachal Pradesh. This Recipe was firstly commercialized in 1987 by Valley Agro Foods (Vale's).
This recipe is prepared from fresh green chilies blended with lemon juice and cooked with spices to form a paste. It is prepared in mustard oil.
This Tangy Hot Chilli Chukh is usually eaten as a condiment to go with meals, dip, rice or snacks and can also be used in cooking to give that extra punch to curries.
It can be consumed as a hot Sauce, pickle, or a food additive and can be added to any salad.
STORAGE - To serve, use a dry spoon, mix thoroughly before using, and keep the oil layer on top of the pickle to keep it fresh.
